Ems shares how a well-paying job in a good workplace started losing it's shine when she realised she lacked creative freedom and the company started making some sales choices that were misaligned with her values. This, along with other factors, caused Ems to suffer a mental breakdown that spurred her on to leave her job and create her own.

She opens up about how the first version of her business didn't work out and compares the differences between that first agency with the business she has now which fits not only her lifestyle but also her ideal surroundings and community to thrive as a neurodivergent business owner.
